  1. Irc Etiquette
  2. What is MbCode and how do I use it?
  3. Why should I register?

Irc Etiquette
Basic IRC Etiquette:

1) Do not use vulgarity at anyone. It is very rude to use vulgarity and you will get banned in most channels if you do that.

2) Do not repeat yourself. Repeating is very annoying and shows that you are a very impatient person. Please allow a minute or two for the other party to reply.

3) Do not type in CAPS. Usage of CAPITAL letters is consider as shouting. It is very impolite to do that. Surely you don’t like someone to shout at you.

4) Do not spam. Spamming/Advertising by means of mass messaging/notices are not allow in IRC. If you are caught doing that, you will be banned from using the chat server.

5) Avoid using excessive colours. Using colours is not going to get you any special attention. Some users dislike the use of colours because colours make the channel messy and disorganized.

6) Be polite and friendly to everyone. If you are polite to others, they will do the same to you. Let’s work together to build a friendly chat environment.

7) Do not ask for ops or access in any channel. It is consider as begging for power and you will usually get ban from the channel if you do that.

8) Do not quarrel / argue in any channel. Quarreling in a channel will cause disturbance to other chatters in the chatroom. Thus, it will be more appropriate to settle your arguments or quarrels in private conversation. However please bear in mind that IRC is a place for chatting and getting to know new friends, not to make enemies with others.

Remember, people on IRC form their opinions about you only by your actions, writings and comments on IRC. So think twice before you type.

Do not "dump" to a channel or user (send large amount of unwanted information). This is likely to get you kicked or banned from the channel.
